Lionheart Theatre Company is the proverbial dream-come-true for founding member, and long-time Gwinnett resident, Tanya Carroll. Her vision was to establish a community theater that offered affordable entertainment, and encouraged the participation of community members in all aspects of theatrical production. It remains Lionheart’s goal to elevate the spirit of community by enriching the cultural experiences of its members. Community theatre allows folks who have experienced the theatre in high school or college to put their skills back to work and still have a day job and time with the family. Adults and kids alike who have always wanted to give acting a try have a place in which to do it without feeling intimidated. There is something for everyone to do from, sewing to painting, building and baking, acting to searching for props.
